MEGANTARA


Megantara was a culture festival held by 3 Senior High School Bandung (and helped by the sponsors) on Saturday, 10 September 2016 at Lapangan Bali, Bandung. The school actually holds the performance art once a year with a different name every year. After seven years it didn't hold the event, eventually 3 SHS held it again and Megantara is the third event after "Gamarvani" performance art. 3 SHS Bandung holds this special event for everyone who wants to attend especially for the students of this school.

As I had bought a ticket, so I had been on Lapangan Bali at 7 a.m. for tenth graders have commanded by the commitees to join the procession. Tenth graders had to dress up with "pangsi" for boys and "kebaya" for  the girls. There were children too that also participated in that time. We including the commitees started the procession through Bali Street, Belitung Street, Sumatera Street, Merdeka Street, Jawa Street, and then back again to Lapangan Bali. Along the way, we cheered and promoted about the Festival Megantara had been held and shared the location of it too. After doing the procession of Megantara, we should be waiting before the open gate and the show get started.

The gate was opened for the public at 11.35 a.m. The students of 3 SHS must pay the internal ticket Rp 100.000,- each. The entrance ticket (external ticket) was only Rp 30.000,- each for everyone except the 3 SHS Bandung students if they bought it before the event day was started, but it would cost Rp 35.000,- if they bought it on the spot. After buying the ticket we could enter the gate and would be checked what goods we brought.

Because the theme of this festival was Indonesia Culture, so it had been decorated in such a way like the paintings of the photo-booth and the decorations maked the atmosphere of Indonesia culture from the various of islands united.

When the gate was opened for the public,  the visitors had not been crowded. I came to Lapangan Bali at 1.15 pm. and there were many food stands,  games,  and many souvenirs.  Mostly visitors bought the food because they were so diverse. Since Megantara has started the show on the stage,  we could see many performances including from many art extraculicullars of 3 SHS Bandung students. There were MK3,  Band3, KPA3,  TisT, and many more.

We enjoyed to watch the peformances and to buy many delicious food from there. The guest stars were "The Cangcuters"  and "RAN". Hence,  time by time we all were waiting for the guest stars performed. They performed at the evening.  The Cangcuters performed at 7 pm. and it was so amazing. At the evening the visitors become so crowded and everybody watched its performance. Unfortunately,  I had to go at 7.30 pm. and I didnt watch RAN and didn't finish til' the end of the show. Although I had to go,  I was so entertained and the festival was so big,  good,  and amazing.

My Unforgettable Memory

I have many unforgattable memories, but right now I want to tell you about my unforgettable memory when I was eighth grader. As I have told before, I studied at SMPN 5 Bandung. So, one of the most memorable moments during I studied there is when me and my friends went to Yogyakarta. Yogyakarta is a beautiful city and also have many cultures that is very good too. It has many tourist attractions that can be visited by everyone. The first, we from the eighth grader had bought the ticket to go to Yogyakarta. Me and my friends went to the Bandung Station because we wanted to go there by train, actually my teacher also joined up the trip. At the eveing, after waiting for departure time, finally we left the Bandung Station. On the train, we all were enjoyed the travel by train. There, we made the wargon crowded. Singapore

One of many places that I want to visit is Singapore. Singapore, or also known as the Lion City is a global city and sovereign state in Southeast Asia and the world's only island city-state. Although it's a small city-state, during this era, this state has been increasing so fast, for example the quality of its citizens are good and productive, the technology has been so modern, the city is clean and there is no one would litter in, and many more. If we were there, there would be many rules in order to make us more discipline. Singapore is a crowded state. Certainly, it provides many facilities to be used for example luxury hotels, shopping centers, and restaurants. There are many public transportations too that make the tourists feel comfort to travel. Other than the public facilities in the central city, It also offers many good tourist destinations that can be explored. So, it's a comfortable and a lovely place to stay.
